17/10/09.
Well, I can only apologise at the lack of gigs. I hope you enjoyed the Mp3 if you received it, but we would love to play live again for you soon. Of course we will keep you informed if one comes up. There are no longer any problems with ordering the single, so that will make it easier for you to have a piece of our music at home. Link to CD single page

3/1/09 Mp3 sent to mailing list.
Hi there, a couple of days ago I sent out an mp3 to everyone on the mailing list. I contained two songs, 'Lust' and 'When'. These are going to be an occassional offering for anyone kind enough to join the mailing list. They will be rudimentary, a bit rough and rambled, but I hope you like them. I have had some lovely feed back from some people, and I thank you for that. Not all of those sent got delivered, so if you are on the mailing list but didn't recieve it, that will be because it bounced back; if you can sort that out your end, you'll get the next one ok. Of course if you are not on the mailing list but would like to receive the mp3s just email me and I'll stick you on the list.

26/08/08 Hmmm...not a lot happening then...
Well, I'm sorry that things have been a bit slow lately. I'm afraid life seems to be getting in the way a bit. However, the long promised album is still taking shape, and we hope to be getting out to gig as soon as possible. Until then though, I'd like to take the time to say thanks for your continued support, it means a lot to us, and promise that as soon as something happens I'll let you know.

3/10/07 Problems ordering new single?
If you've been having problems ordering the new single, the nice people at PayPal assure me that you can remedy this by clicking on Tools on your Explorer bar, clicking Internet Options, and then deleting cookies and files. Sorry if it's been a hassle.

11/6/07 New Single released. CDs available on line.
Finally, a new recording...! This is not from the album I'm doing with Dave Newey, you'll have to wait for that one. This is a single I've been working on myself, and is a studio band recording, with the undoubted talents of Dave Bulbeck on bass, and Deano Elson on sax. I'm really please with the results and at finally getting it out (I actually finished it about 3 years ago, but it's sat gathering dust since then). The title track is a reworking of an old favourite, 'Do you believe in fairy tales?' which includes a stunning bit of sax from Deano. Also included are 'We were meant to be', and 'Cool water'.
You can order it from this site here. You can now pick up the other available CD's on line as well now, but of course, if you prefer you can still post to the address below.

21/3/07 Slow but sure progress on the album.
Well, you won't be able to have a listen to it whilst filling yourself up with chocolate this Easter, but progress is being made on the new album. It's slow going at the moment, but we do have half of the guitar tracks down, and when we can get in the studio, things go quite smoothly. I haven't quite got to the point of pulling my hair out, but close. I'll will keep you informed. With a bit of luck I should get some more demo's up on the myspace site to keep you going. If you haven't been there already, the address is www.myspace.com/andycomley

8/11/06 New Album to be produced with Dave Newey.
The new studio album has been a long time in the making, and now it has got a boost in the form of Dave Newey as producer. Dave is more commonly known for his performance skills with folk band Arlen, as a duo with Lucy Rutherford (with whom he was runner up at the Radio 2 Young Folk awards), and as a solo artist. He is a superb guitarist and musician, and will bring many talents to the project. All we have to do now is find a time when both of us are free!

1/6/06 Recordings To Be Emailed To Mailing List.
I've recently been working on some new studio recordings, and have a few in various states of completion. To say thanks to everyone who has joined the mailing list and supported us over the years, I thought I'd periodically email out some of the song demos to mailing list members. If you are not on the list but should be (!) just email us to be put on.

16/2/05 New Live Album Available.
Well I've been promising it a long time but it's finally here. You can now get your hands on the new live album "The Official 12 Bar Bootleg!" This album really captures one of our gigs and brings it into your living room. It was recorded live at the 12 Bar Club, London, on a great night in October 2004, and features Dave Bulbeck on bass, and Deano Elson on saxophone.
Songs featured include:

Small blue boat,
Paradise,
Do you believe in fairy tales?,
About this time of day,

as well as all the chat and banter. No overdubs or trickery, just a real, live gig captured on CD.

Support for Boo Hewerdine 6th and 26th October 2005.

It will be a great honour for us to support Boo Hewerdine in October. Boo should be well known to you as a writer for Eddie Reader (inc. Patience of Angels), as well as playing in her band, and for being one of the UK's top singer/songwriters. We're looking forward to sharing the stage with a master of the songwriter's craft, so please come along and have a night to remember at The Cellars at Eastney.(click here to go to gigs page)
